The USCCA, Bass Pro Shops, LVMPD, and Homeland Personal Protection are teaming up for a free event this Saturday at Bass Pro Shops in Las Vegas .

The 'mostly' apolitical flyer mainly focuses on unintentional firearms injuries and suicides in children and mentions the new Nevada safe firearms storage law (NRS 202.300) but at the end takes a stab at the threat of "Gun" Violence. 

For the past few weeks people have been reporting closures and work being done out at what is known as the Sloan Shooting area. We reached out to the BLM's Southern Nevada District Office and this was their response:

According to a tweet by the BLM and varying news reports the fire near Sandy Valley was started due to target shooting.

June is National Safety Month. In observance we at NV Shoot and Train would like to remind new and existing firearms owners throughout Nevada of the importance of prioritizing Firearm Safety.
