Nevada Firearm Dealers No Longer Allowed to Accept Expired ID's as Temporary Covid-19 Extension Expires

According to a Facebook post from a Nevada-based firearm's dealer, the Nevada Department of Public Safety has sent out alerts to Nevada FFL's that they are no longer allowed to accept expired identification for firearm purchases from persons under the age of 65.

The order that allowed FFL delaers to accept expired identification due to the impact of COVID-19 pandemic shutdowns that affected of goverment operations expired on Thursday November 12th, 2020.

Those looking to purchase firearms within Nevada now must have a current and up-to-date Nevada ID.
