ALWAYS BE READY. The ABR Academy is a series of interactive and educational classes that we hold at select 5.11 retail stores. At the academy, subject matter experts educate users in the areas of trauma care, self-defense, everyday concealed carry, fitness, outdoor adventure, and more. All experience levels are welcome!
We are honored to have teamed up with USCCA to offer a FREE workshop on Building Your Own First-Aid Kit.
Features: While there are many diagnostic tools, medications and devices that EMS providers have access to that are simply not available to nonprofessionals, a vast majority of first-aid items are accessible online or at a local drugstore. This mini-class covers what types of gear might be included in three different-sized emergency first-aid kits for civilians.
Benefits: Students will learn that having the right first-aid gear on hand is equally as important as having the skills to respond to traumatic and medical emergencies.
Purpose: This mini-class will demonstrate how to build the perfect first-aid kit.
