Join us for a very basic Firearm Fundamentals 101 Workshop where learning is fun, instruction is easily understood in a welcoming and comfortable no pressure environment. This workshop is for every firearm owner, whether new to firearms or not:  for those who shoot for competition, for hunting, for fun or for personal protection. Promoting and exercising safety is every firearm owner's responsibility no matter the reasons for owning a firearm, or for how long. Become comfortable with a firearm, building confidence while overcoming challenges, fears or a traumatic experience. Develop your personal skill set in basic steps, learning at your own pace, at your own level. Â
WHAT TO BRING: Your personal firearm, 1-2 magazines, 50 rounds of ammunition for DAY 2- Range Time, speed loader if you have one, eye and ear protection. You can rent our "Gun & Gear" ($45.00) package if you do not have any of these items. We will fit you with the right size firearm and provide you all the necessary items (see items listed above) for a safe, fun and successful time on the range.  PROGRESS MAP: Our sincere recommendation is to repeat this class. There is so much information taught in this class that you will only remember so much when you walk out the door. For this reason we encourage students to repeat this class until they feel comfortable and confident to move to the next step.  The next step: "Down Range" is a 3 hour course designed to apply the skills learned from the "Firearm Fundamentals and Gun Safety" course. As you continue to improve on safe gun handling you will also be enhancing your skill development. You will be applying range safety, range orientation and range etiquette.   Remember, you can not become comfortable without becoming familiar with your firearms first, then you can become confident as you work toward becoming a more proficient shooter. There is no skipping steps. Consistent firearm education and training must be continual, without compromising safety. Safety should always be our first priority. Safety is the very foundation of firearm handling.  Â
