Detailed Business Overview
Kanga Training was founded, and is run, by a female ex-police officer. It grew out of a vision to fill a gap in the Las Vegas Concealed Firearm Permit, NRA Firearm Training, general firearm training, and self-defense training industry for highly engaging, entertaining, humorous, differentiated and inclusive, student led and responsive training, where no student would lack confidence in asking questions, or become fully engaged and involved in the classroom.
At Kanga Training, we believe that unless a client is looking for military style tactical training, training should be a stress free, relaxed, enjoyable experience, within an inviting and quality surrounding.
Kanga Training is proud to be the Concealed Firearm Permit, firearm, and self defense instructors to Lake Las Vegas Sports Club, and other lifestyle communities in and around Henderson. If you are resident in a lifestyle community please check if we service it, because we do serve your community, fees can be added to your monthly club invoice.
The background and training of instructors is crucial to both the client experience, and the training outcome. Our staff have a combined 35 years of executive protection and related work, law enforcement, developing and running an action sports company and gun range, law teaching, training other teachers, in various countries around the world.
Products and Services Overview
Kanga Training offers three service types -
- Classes and training to meet specific requirements. For example, Concealed Carry Firearm Permits Courses, NRA Pistol courses, NRA Courses and law enforcement HR218 Certification.
- Training that we regularly provide. Examples include, unarmed self-defense courses, defense/preparation for an active assailants, CCW preparation, armed PILB preparation, handgun fundamentals (aiming, trigger control, focusing on sights, stance, grip), defending yourself inside your home, and tactical shooting.
- Customized training to suit your needs. We often work with families, organizations, and individuals to develop a specific day, or even a few hours, of training. Group pricing and discounts are provided on request.
