Public Shooting Not Likely to Reopen on June 10th at Clark County Shooting Complex
Clark County Shooting Complex Manager Steve Carmichael has announced that due to internal issues CCSC may not reopen to public shooting as last anticipated on June 10th. Clark County Shooting Complex Pushes Reopening Back to June 10th
The Clark County Shooting Complex has pushed its reopening to June 10th (previously June 3rd) with a 60 day anticipated "return to life" time-frame. A recent email to CCSC user groups (instructors, match directors, etc...) highlights the struggle of "red-tape" they have been facing in trying to reopen, including the termination of over 2,000 part-time employees at the start of the pandemic which encompassed a majority of the CCSC staff. That combined with an anticipated $50 Million projected deficit for the County has made it hard for them to get the complex back to 'normal'. Read More...

Clark County Shooting Complex Receives Approval to Reopen on May 20th
Per a message from the Complex's manager posted via their Facebook page, the Clark County Shooting Complex has received approval to reopen to the public on Wednesday May 20th, 2020. The complex will open with limited hours due to a staffing shortage at the moment and will employ safety precautions outlined by CDC's COVID-19 guidelines. The range will operate on a first come, first serve basis with no reservations needed or being taken. PSA: Nevada CCW Classes MUST Be Done In-Person
LVMPD recently sent out a letter to CCW Instructors reminding them that CCW classes must be held in-person and not online. We are sharing this publicly as to ensure everyone is aware that if they are to take an online CCW class that their certificate and subsequent application will be null and void. Clark County Shooting Complex Revises Reopening Plan to Include Public Pistol/Rifle Range with Limited Hours
The Clark County Shooting Complex has revised its proposed reopening plan it submitted to the County Manager's office to include the opening of the Public Pistol/Rifle range. Clark County Shooting Complex Announces Phase 1 Reopening Plan; Does Not Include Public Pistol/Rifle Range
The Clark County Shooting Complex sent out an announcement today via their Facebook page that they have come up with a Phase 1 Reopening plan. The Plan however HAS NOT yet been approved by the County and the plan DOES NOT include an anticipated opening date for the public Pistol/Rifle center due to forecasted staffing levels not being optimal for the May 20th target date.
