Job purpose

Greeting customers, responding to questions, and closing retail sales are key to employment as an RSA.

As the public face of New Frontier Armory an RSA is responsible for dealing with customer questions about the products and services the company offers.

Provides excellence in customer service while also focusing on increasing sales.

Duties and responsibilities

Understanding and strictly adhering to all local and federal laws is paramount

Strong focus on increasing store sales including cross-selling/upselling as well as directing customers to merchandise

Greeting customers with an enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic matter with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service

Ability to adapt to industry trends and independently maintain a revolving knowledge of new products/items/industry, etc

Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business

Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision

Maintain cleanliness and organization of both the retail sales floor as well as back stock areas. Includes but is not limited to general cleaning of the store (vacuuming, dusting, glass cleaning, bathroom maintenance, etc.) facing shelves, and contributing to down stocking/inventory procedures in coordination with the ASM and GSM

To avoid backups or any issues with customer satisfaction, be aware of the current status of work in all departments

Proper and complete store closure procedures in preparation of the next workday

Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and/or as directed by management

Qualifications

Minimum of a High school diploma with further education desired 2+ years’ experience in sales and/or customer service-related fields preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication, must be proficient in verbal and written English language

Working knowledge of firearms and related items, store products, and industry

Pass a background check and drug test throughout employment Present a clean and neat appearance

Working conditions

Retail sales associates are expected to be on time and present during their regularly scheduled hours as well as being flexible and occasionally covering for unattended shifts as needed.

Physical requirements

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift 50lbs Must be able to present a clean, professional image

Must be able to keep work environment clean, presentable, and safe

Carrying of a firearm is optional. If carrying (open or legal conceal carry) a mandatory quarterly qualification will be conducted
