Reno Guns & Range Open but Cancels Leagues and Limits Range

Written by

Reno Guns and Range has announced they are open for business but Bulls-Eye league, RIPL and Youth Leagues are postponed until further notice. They are also only utilizing every lane on the range. All other operations are ongoing...

From Reno Guns and Range's Facebook Page:

We’re taking a shot in the dark here...(a little humor can’t hurt!). Things will get even more crazy

Currently we do not intend to close. We plan to remain open to provide essential services to our customers, but we continuously monitor and follow the CDC recommendations.

That said, our Bulls-Eye league, RIPL and Youth Leagues are postponed until further notice. If you recently received a reminder email….forget about it ?. (They are automated and slipped out before we figured out how to stop it.)

Currently we still have a good selection of firearms, ammunition and accessories (thanks to our Purchasing Manager who’s been on target with our customer’s needs and wants). BUT please keep in mind this can change quickly.

If you have a current CCW, the process of purchasing a firearm will go quickly. If you don’t have a CCW, please be prepared for some delay in processing your background check due to the state’s background system delays.

We want to kill this virus asap (but our ammo doesn’t seem to do the job!) so we’re working on this the more traditional way and hope you’re with us.

* If someone in your house has tested positive, keep the entire household at home. Do not go to work or school or Reno Guns & Range.

* If you have a serious underlying health condition, stay home and away from others and don’t come to Reno Guns & Range.

* Practice good hygiene such as washing your hands, especially after touching frequently used items or surfaces, and firearms. Avoid touching your face. (We mandate this after all your shooting events forever… ok it’s just a recommendation, but a valuable one you should heed!)

* Practice social distancing of 6’. Our lanes are 4’ wide and we're currently leaving every other lane open. When possible, please keep your practice sessions brief to allow others to use the range.

Students will be contacted if their class is affected.

We look forward to getting through this with you. Be safe & Healthy!
