Clark County Shooting Complex to Open to Public on Friday June 26
A press release released today by Clark County states that on Friday, June 26, the Clark County Shooting Complex will FINALLY reopen for public shooting at 7a.m. But due to staffing challenges, limited days and hours of operation will be in effect. Public Shooting Not Likely to Reopen on June 10th at Clark County Shooting Complex
Clark County Shooting Complex Manager Steve Carmichael has announced that due to internal issues CCSC may not reopen to public shooting as last anticipated on June 10th. Clark County Shooting Complex Pushes Reopening Back to June 10th
The Clark County Shooting Complex has pushed its reopening to June 10th (previously June 3rd) with a 60 day anticipated "return to life" time-frame. A recent email to CCSC user groups (instructors, match directors, etc...) highlights the struggle of "red-tape" they have been facing in trying to reopen, including the termination of over 2,000 part-time employees at the start of the pandemic which encompassed a majority of the CCSC staff. That combined with an anticipated $50 Million projected deficit for the County has made it hard for them to get the complex back to 'normal'. Read More...
