The increase in warmer weather combined with the increase of new shooters and closure of managed shooting ranges due to the COVID-19 Pandemic has sent in influx of people looking to shoot out to the surrounding deserts across the state. While we enjoy the benefit of living in areas surrounded by large amounts desert, the areas open to unrestricted shooting have dwindled and keep dwindling due to growth and one often overlooked group of factors: Misinformed, Irresponsible and Careless shooters. Trash, Fires, Injuries, Destruction: All endanger our open, 'unrestricted' shooting areas...

The Clark County Shooting Complex has revised its proposed reopening plan it submitted to the County Manager's office to include the opening of the Public Pistol/Rifle range. That being said the proposed hours of operation for the range will be drastically reduced when compared to normal operating hours: Wednesday-Sunday 7 AM to 11 AM. Read the Full Announcement Below...

The Clark County Shooting Complex sent out an announcement today via their Facebook page that they have come up with a Phase 1 Reopening plan. The Plan however HAS NOT yet been approved by the County and the plan DOES NOT include an anticipated opening date for the public Pistol/Rifle center due to forecasted staffing levels not being optimal for the May 20th target date.
