CCSC is reporting that due to a considerable amount of staff under quarantine due to possible COVID-19 exposure that they have shutdown the Pistol and Rifle Center until 5pm on Thursday January 21st, 2021. Shotgun and Archery as well as training and matches are unaffected and remain under current normal operations.
According to a Facebook post from a Nevada-based firearm's dealer, the Nevada Department of Public Safety has sent out alerts to Nevada FFL's that they are no longer allowed to accept expired identification for firearm purchases from persons under the age of 65.
According to news reports what appears to be the owner of Virginia City Gun Works and his son were killed over what is believed to be a long-standing legal dispute over money with the suspect. The motive however is still being investigated by police.
